Hardy wins World Title...Christian wins ECW Title...Mickey James wins Divas Title...

A sold out crowd on Sunday night went nuts when Jeff Hardy became the new World heavyweight Champion by pinning CM Punk to capture the gold in the city of brotherly love...
It was awesome on this night to be a part of this historic event and the fans showed their support relentlessly especially for the main event...Punk and Hardy both worked very hard and had numerous exchanges to make it @ least a 4 star match in my opinion...I certainly hope that Hardy can maintain the Title for some time but as I stated before his in ring work is so high impact that I can not see him holding the belt for too long...It's inevidable that his performances in defence of the belt will take their toll...I do expect a huge Summerslam defence...Now who will his opponent be?
Randy Orton managed to get by both HHH and Cena with the assisstance of Legacy to hold on to the WWE Title, at one point prior to the end of the match he was placed in two different submission holds by both opponents at the same time and he tapped out then the ref realized that he could not call the match because he would have to award the match to both HHH and Cena, that's when Legacy came out to cause a little disturbance giving Orton the ability to nail his finisher on Cena for the pin with Cody Rhoades on his back....2 and a half star match at best...I like a one on one contest for the Belt...
Mickey James has got to be the best in ring female performer by far, she proved it by winning the Divas Title beating Marysse(very sexy young lady)..
The BIG surprise was Big Show being named Chris Jericho's partner to be the unified Tag Title holders and they defeated Legacy to maintain ownership of the Belts...
The IC Title was also defended and kept by the amazing Rey Mysterio which was probably the best match of the night aside from Hardy/Punk.....
The six pack challenge for the US Title was also defended and kept by Kofi Kingston who is an amazing athlete as well...The ECW Title changed hands as Christian defeated Tommy Dreamer for the belt in the city that EXTREME was born in, when it was transfered from Eastern Championship Wrestling at the Arena on Swanson & Ritner St's under I95 some 16 years ago..Very memorable times for me back then...And the WWE Womens Title was also defended successfully by the current Champion Michelle Mckool defeating Melina(pretty physical ladies match)...All in all it was a great night in Philly, congrats to all the atheletes and WWE of course....

WWE Night of Champions..All Titles up for grabs...

For those lucky enough to have ringside seats(face value $300) for tommorrow nights PPV event originating from the Wachovia Center in Philly, we are all in for one heck of an event to say the least...
I certainly hope that WWE and it's athletes can deliver an acceptional and memorable Pro-Wrestling card for the Philly fans(whom are the most demanding)and a huge worldwide audience around the globe.
I am making this very brief and to the point. There will be new champions crowned in the city of brotherly love, with all the Titles being defended in one night it is a given that this will occur, the question is which Titles?
For the World Heavyweight Championship I would like to see Jeff Hardy walk away with the Belt and begin another run as one of the 2 top Title holders in WWE....His ability to display the incredible high flying assault that he possesses is truly acceptional to see but if he wins the Belt tommorrow night how long can he go at the pace that he wrestles with defending the Title against all the top dogs gunning for the Belt and the spot?
The physical demands everytime he steps in the ring is inhuman, the impact every night literally will take it's toll in short order because if he wins he will then have that title to defend and the demands in the ring as well as the travel neccessary to be the man will be excruciating to have to deal with, if he can stay healthy and injury free, it will be one awesome Title run....Best of luck to him tommorrow night regardless....For this match and all the matches I will give my full report on tuesday afternoon...Check it out.....

Lesnar destroyes Mir as predicted and keeps UFC Heavyweight Title...Gains undisputed status as he did in WWE...

The Next Big Thing displayed his fierce dominance once again by literally pummeling the crap out of Frank Mir last night in what I have to say was the best UFC PPV in some time, defenitely worth the $45. and the co. last night had a lot to do with it too, the boys and I made it a great night...Thanks fellas....
I predicted that Brock would end it before the first round was over, but it only took a very short time into the second round for him to close the deal and he did so very convincingly which to the MMA crowd's disappointment had no relevance to Lesnar, he thanked the fans at the Las Vegas venue by flipping them with both fingers after the fight...
As Rohgan said it best, he relishes being the HEEL..A very significant Pro-Wrestling term....
I wonder how Vince feels about that..LOL....
You have to give him credit..With a record of only 4-1 he defeated the large asian fighter in another MMA league to win his 1st match...Then came to UFC and pummeled Mir but lost by being outsmarted when Mir caught him in an ankle lock...Then he wins his next fight by beating the tough texan(at least he gave him a fight)...Then beats a True Living Legend in Randy Couture with the most experienced background of all his opponents to capture the Belt and now destroys Mir and gets some serious revenge for his only MMA loss and captures the undisputed Claim to the Heavyweight crown...Un-freaken-believable...WOOOOOOO...You gotta love it....
Until Orton in WWE won the World Title he was the youngest to have ever done so...But still not even Orton has the distinction of holding both belts...Only Brock and Jericho can claim that....
He appears to be unstoppable and I think right now that the only MMA fighter equal to the ability that Lesnar posesses is Bobby Lashley and I'm not saying that just because he was also an accomplished amateur and Pro-Wrestler but simply because of size and strength...Factor that in and the answer is simple...Dana White do what you do best...Make it happen.....I gotta say congrats to Lesnar for shutting Mir up...He deserved it for his heavy trash talkin...
In other matches St. Pierre won his fight with a decision over Alves to keep the belt in the most technical of all the matches last night...Got give it to the brazilian though, he demonstrated true skill by how he was able to snake himself out of various situations where he was on his back, defended against stikes while on his back as well...Amazing....Henderson chasing after Besping was pretty entertaining especialy when he caught him with a seriously planted right hand knocking the crap out of the brit...Then did a jumping finisher to seal the deal...PUNCHES OF THE NIGHT...WITHOUT QUESTION.....Also a good fight was Akiyama defeating Belcher with both fighters demonstrating a great exchange...Hats off to UFC and the fighters for a great show....

Lesnar vs. Mir II this saturday night for the UFC Heavyweight Title...

Brock Lesnar in an incredible athlete and that's putting it mildly.....I think that he learned a valuable lesson last time they fought(he and Mir)......
Just 2 matches later he becomes the Champ defeating a true living legend in Randy Couture(now in his mid 40's).....
I see Lesnar completely destroying Mir for what happened last time, we will not see an F5 deliveved of course, but I certainly expect Lesnar to end it quick...
If it goes past the 1st of 5 rounds I will be very amazed to see Mir fend off the next big thing as he was billed in WWE.....Let's not forget that Brock was a very accomplished amateur Wrestler winning a National Title to his credit....
In WWE of course he was awarded victories over all the top performers at that time accept Stone Cold Steve Austin....
He would not agree to sell a victory to Lesnar...Which led to Austin's departure the 1st time around from WWE....He would not participate in that creative endeavour...Way to go Stone Cold...
We however can not forget that he was only one of 2 men awarded the undisputed WWE/World Title and the youngest at that time to ever accomplish that.....
His work in a Pro-Wrestling ring was flawless, aggressive and incredible to watch....
Although the outcomes are generally scripted(specifically for the fans benefit) the actual physicality is very real...When a competator is given a suplex, backdrop, bodyslam, powerslam and yes an F5 which was Lesnar's finishing move there if no cushion, nothing but mat...
His unbelievable Strenth and size combined with the unparalelled ability is what will allow Lesnar to get through Mir and any adversary to come his way.....Period...
The only thing that can defeat this guy is allowing himself to get caught up in some kind of an ankle or arm submission....Mir did it once can he do it again? That's the question....After really being disappointed with Sapp's performance or lack there of against Lashley I certainly hope that this will be a good fight even though I don't feel it will go past the 1st round in Lesnar's favor....

It's official: triple threat match at Night of Champions for the WWE Title....Orton vs. Cena vs. HHH in Philly...

Last nights edition of Raw saw the WWE Title match determined to be a triple threat match to headline the Night of Champions in Philly later this month.
All three competitors will have a tough match ahead of them when they face each other in the city of brotherly love...NOT...
From a physically competative point of view an educated Pro-Wrestling observer would have to give this to Orton but knowing that this business has a lot to do with how popular a Wrestler is in determining a winner one can only say that Cena will likely walk out with the WWE strap. At this point I don't expect HHH to win the belt back just yet...We will have to see though...Philly fans are very demanding and being that this PPV will originate from this city you can only anticipate all hell breaking loose. For the World Heavyweight Title CM Punk will again defend against Jeff Hardy. I think that Hardy just might walk out the victor with the Belt in hand, his hi-flying assault and risk taking has to deliver this time.
The ECW Title has a very special place in this city as well, going back to the old ECW Arena days. Although the Title has gotten a different look in recent months the tradition has not changed completely. Tommy Dreamer(Champ) vs. Christian vs. Koslov should be an all out slobberknocker as JR would say. I expect Koslov to be the new Champ if he remains in this triple threat by match time, if not christian should win in Philly, this will really tick off all Philly fans seeing Dreamer lose it here.....Lets hope that WWE delivers a big time event suited for the Philly crowd, they will be expecting it, so will I.....Good luck to all participants in the 3 main matches......
